I just wanted to wish everybody a Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you are spending it with people you love. There are soo many things I'm grateful for this thanksgiving. I'm so grateful for my husband Ephraim. He is such a blessing in my life. I thank him for the support he gives me as I make decisions that are hard. He's been my best friend through it all, and we have had a lot of ups and downs but it is all worth it in the end. We only grow closer by having trials. I can't begin to thank him soo much for all he does for me and our family. He has an incredibly great job that he was blessed with and we have a roof over our heads and that is more than I could ask for. He has showed Enoch and I the kind of love that is Christlike, and he will always bring that spirit of Christ in our home. I'm so grateful that he can talk to me about this gospel. He has truly helped me to understand more of the gospel and helped me to calm my fears as I doubted much. I couldn't have asked for a better friend, but most importantly an eternal companion.
I would also say how grateful I am for our son Enoch in our lives. Even though he is still very young, he brings a childlike spirit into our home that is truly special. He brings our family soo much joy that is very hard to explain. Were so grateful to have him here, healthy and strong. We love him very much and are very excited to see him grow and turn into a wonderful young man soon.
I'm very grateful for my family. Not only my family but my in laws as well. When they found out I was getting married and then having a baby, they weren't exactly in best of spirits. As time went on, with alot of fasting and praying, there hearts began to soften. I am so grateful for there change of heart. They are truly happy for our little family and what we have done to get here. They are also very excited to become grandparents! My parents and I are closer than we have ever been and I hope that one day they will see the example that I try to set for them. They are my angels and I feel that they will always be there for me no matter what happens in my life.
Also, I am very grateful for my in laws. They have showed me so much love ever since they have met me. There love is so real, I feel it every time I am with them. They have sacrificed a lot for me and my husband. I wish that one day we can return the favor. I feel very comfortable in there presence. They have raised a smart, loving, intelligent son.
There are soo many other things that I'm grateful for but it's just too much to write in this post.
But I would like to take the time and Thank my Heavenly Father for all the blessings in my life. He has truly blessed me with an amazing family and a beautiful baby boy. I thank him for always answering all my prayers, even if it's in a form that I didn't exactly want.
I am so grateful to be a member of this true church. I don't know where I would be with out it. I'm grateful for my best friend Kelsie. She is the person that brought me into this church. I'm truly grateful for her and her example in my life. She has been there through my whole conversion and supported me all the way. Even though there were times where I just wanted to give up, but I knew in the end that it would all be worth it. Thank you Kelsie.
This church is the only true church, I know that it is true. I'm very grateful for that knowledge.
Sorry that sounds more like a testimony than anything. Oh well I felt the need to write all the things I'm grateful for. I have been very blessed. :-)
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Enjoy the meal and all the pies. I know I will!
